Course Overview

This advanced level course is designed for medical professionals working within gynaecology, dermatology, women’s health, and sexual medicine who are looking to expand their expertise in intimate health treatments. Focusing on the safe and effective use of DESIRIAL® and DESIRIAL PLUS®, this course equips delegates with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills required to address both functional and aesthetic concerns in the female genital region. With a strong emphasis on anatomical understanding, patient-centred care, and clinical precision, this course enables practitioners to integrate intimate health solutions into their practice with confidence and compassion.

Course Focus Areas (Indications)

• Vulvovaginal hydration & tissue health
  DESIRIAL® is indicated for treating vulvovaginal dryness, improving hydration, elasticity, mucosal tone, and overall comfort—particularly in post-menopausal women or those affected by hormonal changes, childbirth, or ageing.

• Vulvar and vestibular mucosal restoration
  Injection into vaginal mucosa and vestibular tissue helps reduce discomfort, burning, itching, irritation, and improves quality of tissue by rehydrating and soothing sensitive areas.

• Labia majora remodelling and volume restoration
  DESIRIAL® PLUS is tailored to address loss of volume or atrophy of the labia majora, enhancing aesthetic appearance, protective function, and increasing structural support to the labia minora.

• Functional sexual wellness
  Supports alleviation of dyspareunia and improves sexual comfort by restoring lubrication and elasticity in women with intimate health concerns.

• Aesthetic rejuvenation of the vulvovaginal area
  Ideal for patients seeking a non-surgical, minimally invasive solution to improve contour, symmetry, and skin quality in the vulvar region.

All products and consumables required during training are fully provided by VIVACY. Delegates are not required to bring their own stock or purchase additional products, and the not expected to use their post-course product bundle during the session.

Delegate Eligibility and Criteria

We accept the following aesthetics practitioners on the Female Intimate Health with DESIRIAL® training course. You must be registered with your professional healthcare statutory regulatory body with no restrictions on your practice. We accept the following:

• Aesthetic Practitioners with specific qualifications (certificate or qualification in genital rejuvenation or non-surgical genital rejuvenation or minimally invasive genital rejuvenation)

• Dermatologist

• Doctors in GUM

• GP with a special interest (women’s health, menopause, gynae)

• Gynae CNS

• Gynaecologist

• Midwife Nurse with gynae or obstetrician background

• Plastic Surgeons

• Urologist

• Medical Practitioners with a proven background with verified paperwork.

To enrol, delegates must have:

• Proven experience of background or interest
• Proven completion of foundation dermal filler training.   
• Competency using cannula technique  
• Valid CQC registration (as DESIRIAL® treatments fall under regulated medical activity) 

 

CQC Registration Requirements

DESIRIAL and DESIRIAL PLUS treatments fall under the category of Regulated Medical Activity: treatment of disease and disorder. Therefore practitioners are required to deliver these treatments in a CQC registered clinic.

Individual Registration - This allow you to perform the treatments in someone else’s CQC registered clinic

Join a CQC clinic - The company will need to complete all the appropriate checks and add you to their registration.

Register your clinic - This will allow everyone working in the clinic to be declared on the CQC registration. Please note you will then only be covered to deliver the treatments in this clinic. Chain Clinics will be required to register the whole group.
